Poster contest

A few weeks ago we set out Honey Club community a little task to design a poster to help promote our honey tasting event in September which reflects the spirit of our community. The rules were simple, a single image (which ever medium you fancied) that could accommodate the Honey Club design assets.

We were inundated with entries  from the abstract to the hand drawn, from graphic design to photography we’ve been overwhelmed (and impressed!) by people’s creativity energy. But, alas, there has to be a winner.

So please join us in congratulating Fossil Glanville from Wolff Olins. Fossil works for mainly editorial clients including The Guardian, Company Magazine and the Radio Times. For the Honeyclub poster she wanted to show the different varieties that you can have: just as honey has infinite combinations of colour, taste and texture, a spoon is still a spoon and it functions as a spoon, yet each one can have still have such individual character. Plus spoons come in quite handy when tasting honey!

We will be using Fossil’s design across a variety of channels to promote our event so watch this space.

Thank you to everyone who participated! We’ll be displaying the runner up designs
at the event also so you can see what a creative bunch the Honey Club community really is.
